For purposes of this funding opportunity, the well defined geographic areas will align with established ACF regions (see Appendices Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) Program Regional Performance and Innovation Consortia, Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Regions, and the ACF Regional Map at http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/oro/regions/acfregions.html). With the exception of ACF Region IV, funding will be limited to one award per region. In Region IV, awards will be made for two separate service areas (one award will be made to serve Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi, and a separate award will be made to serve South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky). The applicant organization must be physically located in the ACF region or service area they propose to serve and describe this service area as part of its application. A single applicant organization will serve as the grantee within each regi on or service area. However, eligible applicants in each region may coordinate efforts and apply as consortia.
