IQS is a robust system with the flexibility to accept any type of training information track the type of fire service qualification and data can be improted into ROSS (Resource Ordering and Status Systems). IQS is a maintainedby the National Association of State Foresters and utilized primarily by 40 states, available to anyone it is used unofficially by emergency response agencies and many local municipalities. It contains the qualifications and training records for approximately 300,000 incident responders. USFA will be assisting with the helpdesk support to local government with this program grant based on a cooperative aggrement/partnership between USFA and NASF while establishing a USFA steering committee representation to local government needs.
