The ministry of Health (MoH) in Cambodia includes staff who have been trained in a variety of international settings, including public health scientists, laboratory scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, information technology professionals, and experts in emerging infectious diseases and vaccine sciences, etc. The MoH collaborates with universities, community groups, private industry, U.S. governmental institutions (e.g., USAID), the World Health Organization (WHO), non governmental organizations, governments of other countries, and others to study and address infectious disease health problems in Cambodia and the surrounding region, leading to public health prevention and control measures that can be applied in developing countries worldwide.
