  • Eligible applicants include State Education Agencies, State Commissions, US Territories, Indian tribes, institutions of higher education, public or private nonprofit organizations (including faith based organizations), public or private elementary or secondary schools, local educational agencies, or a consortium of such entities. Grantees must have experience managing a summer youth program that accommodates at least 100 youth at a time, and must have access to existing infrastructure to support recruitment, enrollment, training and supervision for the youth, and tracking of volunteer hours
