Applicants must demonstrate a unique capability and strong desire to reach and serve these Federal Crime victims through a national scope project. A private nonprofit organization is not required to have 501(c)(3) status to apply for grant funding under this solicitation. OVC may elect to make awards for applications submitted under this solicitation in future fiscal years, dependent on the merit of the applications and on the availability of appropriations. OVC welcomes applications that involve two or more entities however, one eligible entity must be the applicant and the others must be proposed as subrecipients. The applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for administering the funding and managing the entire project. Only one application per lead applicant will be considered however, subrecipients may be part of multiple proposals. This project is authorized under 42 U.S.C. 10603(c)(1)(B).
