The Missouri Resources Assessment Program is conducting Natural Resource Condition Assessments for George Washington Carver NM, Pea Ridge NMP, and Wilson s Creek NB through task agreement # J2106 08 0056. The land cover map developed from the condition assessments will serve as the base map for vegetation mapping. Field reconnaissance conducted through the condition assessment will also inform preliminary development of National Vegetation Classification descriptions. Integrating the condition assessment and vegetation mapping efforts results in substantial cost savings to the NPS.
