Applicants are expected to spell out the anticipated therapeutic impact and the steps that would move the project toward clinical translation in an Impact/Transition Statement (identified as Attachment 6 in the application package). This is where the proposal should connect the experimental plan to a plausible translational pathway, such as how outcomes could enable a therapeutic strategy, support an investigational approach, or de-risk a novel modality enough to justify the next stage of development.
