The Division of International Conservation intends to enter into an agreement with the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. This grant will be used to provide Contracting Parties (CPs) from Africa with the opportunity to articulate regional perspectives, issues, and concerns in preparation for the next Conference of Parties (COP) in Bucharest, Romania. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Grand Bay, Mauritius in October 2011 Department of the Interior Manual Chapter 505 Section 2 establishes criteria for awarding single source cooperative agreements and grants. This award will be made in accordance with those criteria.
