Opportunity Information: Apply for PAR 07 426

The NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research is inviting applications for the Sharing Data and Tools Federation using the BIRN and caBIG Infrastructures (R01). This initiative aims to enhance data and tool sharing among the neuroscience research community. It builds on two major NIH-supported projects: the Biomedical Informatics Research Network (BIRN) and the caBIG program. These infrastructures are designed to facilitate the sharing of diverse types of biomedical data, including images, clinical information, and genomic data.

Funding for this program will utilize the NIH R01 grant mechanism, with anticipated awards typically ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 in direct costs per year for one to three years. Notably, these awards are unlikely to be renewed.
