Opportunity Information: Apply for UTCOPENCOMP2011
The University Transportation Centers (UTC) Program is seeking applications for funding to establish ten Tier 1 UTCs, two Tier 1 Transit Focused UTCs, and ten Regional UTCs. The initiative aims to enhance U.S. transportation technology and knowledge through research, education, and technology transfer to address workforce needs for future transportation leaders.

Eligible applicants must be U.S.-based universities or consortia and can apply via the Grants.gov system. It's crucial that applicants register with Grants.gov in advance. A DUNS number is also required for the application process.
Applications must include several standard forms and a written prospectus, with specific additional documents needed for Regional and Transit Focused Centers. The application deadline is 11:59 PM EST on October 26, 2011. Late submissions will not be considered unless explicitly requested by the review process. Queries can be directed to the UTC program until 4:00 PM EST on the submission deadline, with clarifications being posted on the UTC Program website.Apply for UTCOPENCOMP2011
