Charter schools in those listed jurisdictions are generally expected to pursue CSP funding through their SEA’s subgrant process rather than applying under this Non-SEA federal competition, and the notice directs them to contact their SEA for details.

From an application logistics standpoint, the Department required that applications be submitted electronically through Grants.gov, using the downloadable application package and submitting through the Grants.gov “Apply” system. Applicants were instructed to search by the base CFDA number (84.282) when locating the package and not to include the letter suffix (so, search “84.282” rather than “84.282C”). The notice also makes clear that applications could not be submitted by emailing an electronic copy to the Department.
